The Therapist:

Surrendering to Life’s Possibilities

I’m passionate about helping people make sense of their experiences—whether that’s through therapy or research. As a therapist, I work alongside clients to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and empowering. Together, we explore challenges, build insight, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

As a research consultant, I help individuals and organizations bring their ideas to life by turning questions into clear, actionable findings. I enjoy making complex information more accessible and useful in real-world settings.

At the heart of my work is a belief that understanding—of ourselves and of data—can be a powerful tool for healing, growth, and transformation.

THE RESEARCHER

While embarking on my educational journey at Florida Atlantic University, I fell in love with research. I found an area in which I flourished and the wonderful beings at Florida Atlantic University embraced me wholeheartedly. ♥ Most especially, the amazing team working in the Office of Undergraduate Research and Inquiry and my beloved faculty research mentor, Dr. Morgan Cooley, with whom I respect and compels me to thrive and develop my research capacities.

My research expertise includes child welfare systems, foster care, LGBTQ+, and posttraumatic growth research. I am passionate about evidence-based social work practices and provide relevant services to those seeking professional, quality, and independent research consulting services.

THE MEANING & THE MESSAGE

Growing Me for Me is a personal affirmation and blessing introduced to me by a supportive loving friend whose dedication aided me through a bleak and challenging time. Since 2011, my focus has been on inspiring and motivating others through art as well as the importance of healing our wounded parts. I truly believe our inner wounds are our holy grail. If we participate in the sacred quest of returning to self in healing ourselves whole, then we are able to lift our consciousness away from the generational trauma and brokenness society has allowed.

We are capable of growing to our fullest potential by loving all parts of ourselves, having self-compassion, and awareness of the various parts of self we neglect, abandon, and avoid. Having LOVING, SUPPORTIVE, and ACCESSIBLE beings in our lives is an essential component in helping us maneuver through our darkest moments. Healing, growth, and transformation are possible, wherein the healing of our inner wounds, overcoming our crippling dark moments, sparks the necessary changes required to live the life we all deserve.
